Espoo city has organised a fair for sustainable growth solutions. Visitors were impressed in our product and how it helps the city to achieve its sustainable goals and carbon reduction.
Winning a ballon at Techchill
Nelinor is one of the winners at Techchill Latvia. Winning a ballon worth of 5000 euros. Very fun event and inspiring. We will be coming back next year.
Grid Battery gets a facelift
We have changed the led light battery charge level indicator and improved the enclosure. All the good stuff are still in and it functions the same.
Nelinor makes it to Top 5
We participated in StartupDay Estonia and make to top 5 from over 300 startups. It was great to pitch our solution to over a thousand people and get a lot of positive feedback.
New place of residence
Nelinor became a part of A Grid. Now you can find us in one of the largest business centers in Northern Europe.
GES becomes our flagship product
We have had a lot of meetings with industry experts and potential customers to hear their ideas on what is needed to face the energy crisis. We have been working hard to deliver on the expectations. We think our new product GES will help all the parties involved, such as energy producers, resellers, networks, and consumers.
Nelinor participate in Climate Impact Day
City Climate Impact Day is a full-day event hosted by Cleantech Scandinavia on June 16th 2022, during the H22 City Expo in Helsingborg.The event aims to improve collaboration between important stakeholders on the road to the climate neutral city and will bring together around 250 decision-makers from cities all over Europe.
New product launch at Spring Exhibition
It was exciting days at the exhibition, as we demo our new product to the visitors. We have got a lot of interest, ideas, customisation requests and orders over four days. We will come back again next year!
Energy Innovation awards
Nelinor received a nomination for the prestigious award as part of EnergyWeek, a significant event held in Vaasa, Finland. However, it came to light that the voting system was susceptible to manipulation through the use of voting bots. This loophole allowed for fraudulent voting practices. Moving forward, it is crucial that the organizers enhance the security measures to ensure a foolproof system for the following year.
Multiple partnerships signed in the Emirates
Nelinor launched market entry project in the United Arab Emirates. Interest exceeded expectations and customers were excited to sign partnership agreements even on the first meeting.
Partnership with Sikla
Sikla will start offering Nelinor's Control and Monitor solutions as an optional upgrade to all customers in the residential housing segment. More co-operation between Nelinor and Sikla is coming in the months ahead. Visit Sikla website to see their attractive homes and projects.
Land reserved
This sunny land will be used for building Nelinor's off-grid cabin. The cabin will serve as a development site and as a show room for all Nelinor's current and future solutions.
Pilot with VAV Housing
Nelinor has provided energy Monitoring solution to VAV as part of a pilot. VAV has sent out survey to pilot participants asking "What is the biggest energy consumer in your home?". We have compared their answers to the actual data measurement obtained from their homes via a total of 42 Power Sensors . In one of the cases the guess was that it is sauna and their teenager playing computer games, but the reality showed that it is actually an old freezer and ventilation system. This shows the importance of energy monitoring solution that points to the real issues in energy consumption.

Moving to Lauttasaari
Nelinor was operating from Startup sauna during Kiuas programme. The idea of having own office came with the increased need for hardware storage and development space. Lauttasaari is very nice area with easy access to nature, beach, shops, metro and good restaurants.
Smart Energy Accelerator
Nelinor has been among the selected few to join Smart Energy Accelerator. Very valuable help in hardware manufacturing was provided.
Nelinor is registered
Nelinor graduated from Kiuas and during Kiuas programme, the advice was to delay company official establishment till there are customers that are ready to pay. It was that point for Nelinor, so here we go :)
